Enjoy fishing for trout and pike in the rivers or lakes in the area

Or simply take a casual stroll in the countryside and enjoy the woodlands, meadows, hills and wild flowers which grow in abundance in the area especially the many varieties of orchid. There are many walks in the river Dordogne region for those who just want a gentle stroll or those who want something more energetic. For the bird-lover we have many varieties including woodpeckers, hoopoes, kites (both red and black) and golden orioles. Golf holidays, tennis and crazy golf are also available in the area.

Bikes may be hired locally.

Visit one or more of the chateaux in the area or the various caves in the vicinity.   Or drive around some of the many picturesque villages in the valley of the Dordogne region.

The 12 x 6 metre saline swimming pool (no chlorine, no stinging eyes, nasty taste or smell) has loungers and parasols for your comfort, poolside lights and underwater illumination and is shared with the other guests and owners.  There is table tennis, boules/pétanque, children’s swings, a Wendy House and a sandpit to ensure that even our youngest guests are never at a loose end.
