                                                                How to Book

Telephone us at any time, any day, on 00 33 (0) 5 65 38 64 90 to check availability of the cottage for the period required. If available the cottage may then be provisionally booked.

Cottages at ‘Le Sud’ are offered for holiday rental subject to confirmation by Mr. and/or Mrs. Jacobsen (The Owners) to the renter (The Client).

To reserve a cottage the Client should complete and sign the booking form and return it together with the deposit of 50% of the total accommodation price within 10 working days of the provisional booking.

On receipt of the booking form we will send you an acknowledgement informing you of the date when the balance is due.

The balance of the accommodation price together with the security/damage deposit is due 8 (eight) weeks before the beginning of your holiday or with the booking form if the booking is made less than 8 weeks before the commencement of your holiday.

If you wish to cancel your booking please telephone us immediately followed by cancellation in writing signed by the party leader. The cancellation will take effect from receipt of this written confirmation.

The following cancellation charges will apply:-

                           More than 56 days prior arrival 25% of total cost
                           28-56   days   prior   arrival      50% of total cost 
                           0 - 28   days   prior   arrival    100% of total cost

A security/damage deposit of £150 or €200 is payable and this should be enclosed with your final payment. This is to cover, for example, the cost of any damage or breakage to the property or its contents during your stay. However the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Client’s liability to the Owners for any loss or damage caused. Such deposit will be returned to you within a week of the completion of your holiday if everything is satisfactory when you leave.

The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. The Client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to those residents in neighbouring properties.

The Client shall report to the Owners without delay any defects in the Property or breakdown in the equipment, plant or machinery or appliances in the Property, garden or swimming pool and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible.

The Owners shall not be liable to the Client for : -

     any defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the Property, nor in respect of  any  equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the Property, garden or swimming pool

     any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matter beyond the control of the Owners

     any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client if the Property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event, the Owners shall, within seven days of notification to the Client, refund to the Client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.

Under no circumstances shall the Owners’ liability to the Client exceed the amount paid to the Owners for the rental period.

The Client is strongly advised to arrange suitable insurance in case of cancellation and to cover personal belongings, accident, public liability and other unforeseen eventualities as these are not covered by the Owners’ insurance.

All rental charges should be paid in Euros by International (electronic) Bank Transfer payable to : -

                                                       H.M. and C.M. Jacobsen.

                                                         Arrival and Departure

Cottages are normally booked from Saturday to Saturday but we will attempt to accommodate alternative arrangements outside the peak season.

Cottages will be available any time from 4.30 p.m. on date of arrival to 9.30.a.m. on date of departure. The Owners shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.

                                                                     The Price

The prices quoted below are for one week’s rental. This is irrespective of the actual number of people occupying the cottage but in no circumstances shall the number of people exceed the number quoted in the details of each house. No camping is permitted in the property grounds.

The price includes normal consumption of water, gas, and electricity.

Bed-linen, hand towels and bath towels are provided.   Please bring your own towels for outdoor use/pool.

The price quoted is in Euros and should be paid by International (electronic) Bank Transfer payable to:-

All payments should arrive within 10 days of the provisional booking to : -

On departure the cottages must be left in the same state of cleanliness as found on arrival. A cleaning service is provided at the end of your stay, if desired, at a cost of 50 Euros. If you require this service please let us know and pay on your arrival.

The owners cannot be held responsible for children playing in or around the pool. It is the parents’ responsibility to supervise their children and ensure their safety at all times.   The swimming pool is to be used only by the Client’s party, other residents of ‘Le Sud’ and the Owners. No other visitors are allowed to use the swimming pool.   In order to maintain the cleanliness of the water all users are requested to shower before using the pool and refrain from using sun-oil before swimming.
